The state of agricultural production of Central Chernozem region has been considered, denoting positive and negative trends in the branch and their causes. Ways of recovery from existing situation were determined: development of leasing, formation of secondary market of implements, creation of cooperatives with different type, integrated structures. Also focused is the necessity of state regulation of agroindustrial market, improvement of crediting and taxation of agricultural enterprises.

The influence of integrated agroindustrial formations on development of agriculture has been analyzed. Despite the fact that they become basic suppliers of agricultural produce, these structures restrict the rights of incorporated elements, causing land alienation from direct agricultural commodity producers. It was suggested to perform sanitation of detrimental agricultural enterprises, ensure the development of cooperative-type firms, small and medium business, commercial cooperation of large integrated structures and small agricultural enterprises.
