The urgency of problem concerning parity relations of agriculture with other branches has been shown in view of great losses of agrarian sector due to price disparity. The index of agricultural produce prices and that of industrial production inputs were given in dynamics. Aiming at objective evaluation of existing situation in the branch, it is recommended to calculate indicative indices that summarize the results of economic activity. Methodological approaches to their determination are also stated.

The article gives alterations introduced to part two of the Tax code of the Russian Federation and other legislative acts concerning the rise in effectiveness of taxation in fishery complex. Subject to detailed expounding is the procedure of transition of fishery complex organizations and individual entrepreneurs for payment of uniform agricultural tax, as well as tax and custom privileges with respect to acquiring and repairing vessels of the Russian fishery fleet.
