The article considers issues of investment attractiveness of Primorsky territory as the center of Russia integration to the APR; analyzes the specifics of the regional economy current development and its banking sector. The work identifies extra economic opportunities of small and medium size entrepreneurship. The author alongside with the necessity of the foreign investments attraction, grounds the necessity to create incentives for and to use domestic demand building within the region.

This article covers econometric approaches of the Russian money market short-term interest rates analysis and modeling. On the basis of constructed models we do research of the Russian money market rates dynamics respective to the Bank of Russia’s interest rates on its repo operations. The comparative analysis of the interest rates dynamics during a structural liquidity surplus and after transition to a structural liquidity deficit is presented. Special attention is given to the period of high interbank lending rates volatility due to deterioration of a situation in the Russian financial market under influence of the global financial crisis in 2007-2009.

This article defines the notion of financial system. The controversial questions, connected with establishment of the content and essence of the term «financial system» used in financial sciences are analyzed. This article considers the variety of existing theoretical views of economists and jurists on the content and the structure of financial system. The classifications of different functions performed by financial system and used in Russian and foreign literature are given. As a result, on the basis of systems approach the author's position is formed on the study problem.
The article considers comparatively new but more and more developing trend in banking regulation and supervision which empowers the regulator (supervision body) to perform not only traditional prudential regulation aimed at financial stability of a credit institution, but also conduct of a credit institution vis-à-vis the client.
The article deals with the concept and basic areas of academic thoughts on international monetary, credit, and finance relations through the prism of the contemporary challenges of global economic environment. The author emphasizes the need of system-based methodology and theory of reproduction aiming at updating viewpoints on topical issues and developments of those relations.
