In this paper the author considers «The Queen of spades» by Tchaikovsky in the context of mythologic. On this evidence new comprehension of the plot peculiarity and themes formation of this outstanding masterpiece of Russian opera is put forward.
The paper deals with the research of a phenomenon of style crisis in music in the beginning of XX century from the synergetical point of view - the point of a science about self-organisation of evolving systems. As a material for the analysis one of P. Hindemith's early works - viola sonata ор. 11 № 4 was chosen. The author consistently considers various aspects: harmonical and melodical questions, problems of form organisation and stylistics as a whole.
