In the article the author reflects about the religious and philosophical aspect of the death concept in the scene of Kochubey's execution. The protagonist's death is considered in two foreshortenings, a theatricalized action, a show and a «personal apocalypse». Analysing the poetics of the scene, the originality of composition and dramaturgy the author comes to nontraditional conclusion: there is an overcoming of the tragedy in the episode of Kochubey's pray.

In the article the author is considering the correlation of the notions of information and sense on the material of the XX century music. Striving forthe variety of the musical speech structures - sound pitch accents, rhythmical, factural, timbre ones, dynamical, compositional etc., the modern composition assumes most different and unexpected upshots of musical events, thus extending the number of senses. In this paper the semantic of the shamanic cult and shamanic songs of Western Buryat are considered. The legend about Uley's girl and her shamanic song are recorded by a Western Buryat's shaman V.E. Kharkhanov (1929 - 2008). The analysis of the musical organization of the shamanic songs of the Western Buryats is presented for the first time.

In article features «sobstvenno zvon» on a bibliographic material are investigated. Genre versions of this kind of a peal - «trezvon», «krasnij zvon», and others are defined. It is judged, that these versions differ to two main attributes - to structure of a musical composition and rate. In Russian campanology this theme was not investigated. The author relies not only on the literature on that theme, but also on the knowledge received from expeditions.
