То continue with ourprevious publications in Musicology (No.2,3) which deal with the etymological analysis of main French 17 th and 18, hcenturies terms and show their principles in French organ music of this period, we propose the cycle of two publications (the first article will be followed by the second one in the next number of this magazine) devoted to «French Classicism * problem.In the first article, the author concentrates his attention on «French Classicism * sources, analyses the evolution of the term «classical» in France since 17th century and shows the establishement of «Classicism» conception in the middle of the 19th century.

In this papera pitch organisation of musical fragments in the East Buryatian epos (monologues of heroes tuurelge) is studied. The tone''s functions of the modal system are analyzed in connection with the pitch contours realized in the tones. Culturological interpretation of the results is given.

The history of the recording of the Polyeleos in chant books and typiconsis examined, leading to the detection of two notated versions of psalmic cycles in the chant books of the beginning of the 16 th to the mid-17, hcentury.

We are searching different correlations between Italian, German and English musical and literary traditions shown under the light of baroque, classical and romantic culture stiles.
