The article deals with six items of juridical nature which were announced by “The Declaration of Independence” of the National Council of Azerbaidzhan. The first juridical document of our independence was “The Declaration of Independence” – the first juridical act binding the constitution. The paper also highlights main principles of sovereign, democratic and legal state: distribution of power, national power, legal norms of fundamental rights and constitution which provided free development for all citizens of Azerbaidzhan irrespective of their nationality, religion and social class.
