The authors in their work proceeded from the assumption that the expert participating in diagnostics is viewed not as a measurement 'instrument' but as part of the system, its element, which, due to the specifics of activity, faces some of a whole multitude of its problems.

Motivation in the System of Intra-Holding Management

With all the external logic of the motivation system addressed to help attain the company's goals, its practical implementation turns out to be related with many difficulties and does by far not always produce expected results. The author identifies several hindering factors which can be conditionally subdivided into three main groups: psychological, methodological, and organizational-structural. The elimination (at least partial, if not total) of these hindrances requires that potentialities of the motivation system be clearly defined and its application, where it can produce a maximum effect, determined.

Russian Holding Companies: Management Problems

Business groups became a widespread form of Russian business organization. Judging by the data of a research made with the author's participation, the level of corporate integration has been increasing along with the economic upsurge and reached its maximum in 2002; later on, the number of enterprises forming holding companies started to decrease. A selective survey gave ground to qualify management issues like internal organization of a holding company, control patterns and the use of corporate levers, strategic solutions horizon, etc.

State control is an unalienable function of any system of social management. This obvious axiom has, however, started to be questioned during the process of market transformation of Russian economy. On analyzing the issue of state control in the US and the Russian historical experience in the field the author draws the following conclusion: control is not an end in itself but a part of social management system, which aim it is not only to reveal deviations from designed development plans but to intently see to saving budgetary funds, and - what is topical - to set up conditions to avert violations.

Since a certain conservatism is typical to the governance system in any country and, conversely, the administered object is in continuous development, with time contradictions and discretion emerge in their relationships. Therefore, the structure of governance has to transform constantly in accordance with the state of the administered object.

The main task of financial management in an industrial enterprise is to objectively assess the company's solvency and asset management levels, the degree of its dependence on external financial sources, compute business activity indicators, the enterpriseґs profitability. These elements are interconnected and call for a systemic solution, which can be reached by way of designing an integral pattern. The application of foreign methodologies of developing similar patterns is unlikely in the Republic of Belarus in view of specific sales and resources markets as well as the conditions in which economic agents operate. That is why a methodology is to be developed, which could allow to use less data and accomplish less labour-intensive operations to acquire and process it.

During education period future master's degree holders make practical work, which type depends on the content of the program and the wish of the particular student.
