The authors note that the typical characteristic of social responsibility is the voluntariness of initiatives of companies’ commitment to respect the interests of all stakeholders, future generations included.

A method has been designed to measure consumers' satisfaction with a new product, in which the difference between the expected and the perceived individual quality indicators of the product under development are, with the help of the decomposition/aggregation method, integrated into a single numerical index of consumers' satisfaction. According to the author, the offered management model of a new product consumers' satisfaction will allow the developer, on systemic basis and with minimal labour and material inputs, to raise the competitiveness of the projected product.
