The importance of various characteristics — such as mortality rates by age groups, duration of the period after granting a non-contributary pension, healthy life duration — is addressed. The author presents the results of a comprehensive analysis of demographic factors impact on the retirement age in case non-contributary pension system remains in force.
The main empirical background and trends of control development in the public sector are analyzed. The author unveils the weaknesses in the budget management process from the perspective of full compliance with and application of budget system principles under the control system functioning. Development directions for the institutional control framework aimed at higher operation efficiency are advanced.

Leadership weakness and deficit of leader competencies mitigates the effect of measures adopted by the management in order to ensure labour productivity growth.

A method has been designed to measure consumers' satisfaction with a new product, in which the difference between the expected and the perceived individual quality indicators of the product under development are, with the help of the decomposition/aggregation method, integrated into a single numerical index of consumers' satisfaction. According to the author, the offered management model of a new product consumers' satisfaction will allow the developer, on systemic basis and with minimal labour and material inputs, to raise the competitiveness of the projected product.
