Commodity Functional and Its Development

A new method is presented which allows to group and forecast market behaviour of commodities according to their functional set of satisfying and generating the needs of consumers. In accordance with this classification, a new definition of commodity is given, the notions of market commodity and labour product are separated. By empirically comparing functional sets of different commodities, the existence of a new group of commodities - exceptive commodities - is proved.
