The article addresses the structure of corporate rebranding performance indicators, a model of comprehensive assessment of performance is proposed. According to the author, applying the above indicators will help not only evaluate separate aspects of corporate rebranding performance but also measure the general level of success investments demonstrate in changing the company’s brand.
Information and communication culture constitutes a most important component within the system of knowledge management in the company, the author argues. Enterprises capable to be the first in linking their information and communication culture to their general development strategy will gain a significant competitive advantage.
The author holds that the relatively low production profitability in Russia — caused, among other things, by harsh weather conditions — is a negative factor, which impacts considerably on attracting investment to the national processing industry. Creating industrial clusters makes sense primarily in those Russian regions where the natural environment are maximally favourable to develop adequate production.
In the article the transition from specialized industrial production — featured by the division of labour and mass homogenous output meant for mass-market consumers — to universal small-lot production is discussed. Structural adjustments in industry will take place on the basis of capital partition and isolation in line with subject and thematic-technology universalization.

It demonstrates that the equipment and technologies used by modern managers are critically lagging behind the development level of people. Culture, leadership, involvement and motivation should be the main benchmarks of new management, and not ‘profit and lower cost at any price, the spawn of the technical and tooling system.
