Cartographic training for bachelors of tourism in the context of professional competence

The article theoretically and practically substantiates the necessity of teaching Mapping for Bachelors of Tour- ism. The cartographic competence of future professionals is closely connected with their professional skills. The specific feature of the cartographic method is that it allows one to visualize the geographic space or any simulated space for studying. Consequently it develops the student’s spatial thinking, and makes both cerebral hemispheres be active. It is known that the right cerebral hemisphere is responsible for the creative feature of the human nature, and the left cerebral hemisphere is responsible for the logic. The essence of the cartographic method is that in the process of researching the reality an intermediate element appears. And the intermediate element is a map the role of which is of two kinds: it is a research tool and the subject of research presented as a model, a prototype of the reality at the same time. The symbolic figurative language of a map develops the abstract thinking about the real prototype. It should be emphasized that maps help specialists to establish new patterns in location and intercon- nection of phenomena. Understanding of the graphic image of the structure of the geographical space, highlighting the peculiarities of the tourist and recreational component, administrating the tourist and recreational space, designing a regional project for the development of tourism, creating package tours - all these professional skills are immediately related to students’ intellectual-graphic activities, to their abilities to visualize the geospace, to be good at Mapping. In the final part of the article the cartographic competence is defined as an element of the culture of a competent specialist in tourism’s personality.

Development of body image in adolescence

The article is devoted to the study of the formation of body image in adolescence, relations to other components. Body image is a concept, which includes perceptions of one’s own body, sensual painting of this perception and how, in his opinion, along with its surrounding; it is a kind of system of human representations about the physical side of the self, about my body. The main component of body image is knowledge of the individual about himself, of his physical component. Body image is an important component of self-consciousness. In personality develop- ment is the crisis period of early adolescence because in this phase is the destruction of old and formation of new image of the body that influences personality, his attitude. A negative attitude towards your body can lead to mental disorders, increased levels of anxiety and inappropriate behavior. Therefore, in this study, we considered this age stage of the individual. The article presents the structure of body image, its main components, based upon the results of the study. The author suggests that the development of body image in adolescence becomes successful in the implementation of components of body image that includes a foreign body, boundaries, body image and sex- role identity. We also think that positive body image is associated with such personality traits as self-confidence, sociability, responsibility, independence and depends on how people are satisfied with their appearance.

Features of the application of the case method in the course «Pedagogy and psychology of higher education» for phd students

The article is devoted to widely used in modern Russian higher school case method. The methodology is considered in the context of teaching «Pedagogy and psychology of higher education» for PhD students. In the spectrum of training the highest level specialist tasks is to prepare PhD students for teaching in vocational education. Tradi- tionfor Russian education is the situation when personal is replenished by the graduates of the graduate school, «grown» by the University. Academic postgraduate course «Psychology and pedagogics of higher school», prepared by the Department of philosophy and psychology, Moscow state university of mechanical engineering (MAMI), is also intended to help future teachers in mastering the content of modern concepts of education and personality formation. But the most attention is paid to the practice of designing educational situations in higher education. The authors ‘ position is that the failure of the use of case studies is primarily concerned with the complexities of collecting and the formation directly of problem pedagogical situations. The propose variants: a) practical training using the case method, b) the collection and formulation of problem pedagogical situations, in) classes with the use of the case method, d) stages of the case. The authors share their experience and introduce the reader to the acquired fund of their pedagogical situations. In situations fund there are the following types of situations: con- ceptual, institutional, psychological, ethno-cultural and others. Specific situational feature of many tasks is the multiplicity of solutions. From this point of view, offered by the PhD students solutions can be divided according to the degree of risk, reasonableness of solutions, the cost of resources, but a variety of solutions will be correct and relevant to the task.

Features of the development of the course «Communicative technologies in the service»

The article is devoted to the design of the training course «Communicative technologies in the service». It is noted that in recent times, domestic education is increasingly focused on practical disciplines and subjects, so the role and value of applied knowledge grow, and with it problems of its implementation (teaching) in classically oriented high schools, traditionally focused on theoretical knowledge. This «gap» may be overcome if you understand the imbalances and design disciplines, with the latest knowledge, gleaned mostly from foreign business literature. It became the basis for the design of the course «Communicative technologies in the service» (manual, training- methodical complex, series of lectures, training). The course is built on the basis of the following considerations: to avoid duplication with adjacent (previous and subsequent) disciplines; a basic understanding of the terms «com- munication» and «contact»; practice-oriented approach to serving and learning; networking of communicative theory with «service»; the great role of independent work at studying of discipline. Quotations from contemporary business literature and practices of various communication strategies, including the material of our region - the Tyumen region play the major role in the course. Methodologically, the discipline focuses on the new direction of development of Tyumen state University as a University of global competitiveness and its mission is «training people who are capable to design new activities, to transform the social environment and create successful busi- nesses in the face of global competition».

Methodical bases of formation of color perception of children of preschool and younger school age

The article is devoted to the topical problem of formation of color perception of children of preschool and younger school age in artistic and creative activities. The perception of color is defined by the authors as the process of un- derstanding color, which basic laws are integrity, understanding, apperception, selectivity and constancy. Analysis of the age stages of formation of color perception led to the conclusion that the stages are associated with the environment in which a child grows: experience of color perception in reality, in works of fine art and experience of the own artistic and creative activities, expert help of the teacher. Therefore, the formation of color perception skills of children of preschool and younger school age needs systematic work in the dynamics of preschool children development of colour standards through the expansion of the primary school children’s views about the color and perfection of color skills to the cognition of color as a tool of the artist, which is able to express feelings, emotions and relation. The authors developed methodological recommendations for the formation of color vision in children of preschool and younger school age: the active position of a teacher, the creation of an atmosphere of co-creation, experimentation; demonstration of techniques for working with color; the organization of perception process of art works, including the analysis of a color system in art and nature; the creation of a special aesthetic environment of a group class. The results of the study can be used in the process of teaching and learning fine arts in the design of individual routes of teachers self-education and personality-developing educational technologies in system of improvement of teachers professional skill.

Providing model of tourism industry organizations with highly qualified personnel

The article describes the problem of qualitative training of highly qualified specialists for the tourism industry. It presents the model of formation of professional competence of specialists. There are also the basic problems of the domestic system of training personnel for the tourism industry on programs of additional professional education. The author provides information about foreign experience of personnel training organization in tourism sphere of activity. The article is devoted to the methodology of stepwise solution of existing problems of personnel training for tourist industry in Russia. The study uses the methodology of theory of constraints system (TOC) by E. Goldratt, which is built on logical reasoning and providing answers to three main questions to the management of improving transformations: 1) what limits the development (improvement); 2) what needs to be sent to change limits, its com- plete elimination, expansion limiting boundaries and so on; 3) how to implement this change. The article shows the algorithm of building of logical circuits called E. Goldratt's «current reality tree» (CRT) and «future reality tree» (FRT). Analyzing the dendrogram, the author comes to the conclusion that the greatest factor of the local tourism development is the mismatch of curricula to the needs of tourism organizations that can be solved by joint work of the educational organizations of secondary professional and higher education and additional professional edu- cation with professional unions, associations and other unions of organizations in the tourism sphere. This conclu- sion is reinforced by findings based on the analysis and generalization of training professionals experience in tour- ism business abroad. The necessity of cluster approach to the organization of training, including the cooperation of organizations of higher and additional professional education with professional tourism community is proved.

Role of social environment factors in the teaching of mathematics in the process of psycho-pedagogical support

The article is devoted to theoretical and practical issues of teaching mathematics in high school. The article ana- lyzes the influence of factors of the social environment on higher education, including the teaching of mathematics. Among all studied subjects higher mathematics is a particular educational discipline, knowledge of mathematics is the basis for the study of many applied sciences. The subject of mathematics as an academic discipline in the University is one of the fundamental subjects of general education. The author examines the necessity of psycho- logical and pedagogical support of the process of adaptation to University and support. The article describes the essence of psychological and pedagogical support of University education. Studying the social environment, the author takes into account the factors which are the result of human interaction and which influence at the same time on the behavior and emotional state of people. The article examines the role of environment, including social environment, and the role of the learning process. The author analyzes some factors of the social environment and describes the specifics of teaching mathematics and the specifics of training for various forms of education: full- time education and correspondence courses. The article examines acmeological approach to teaching. The article notes that in acmeological understanding the main direction of development is the movement of a person to self- actualization, the fulfillment of inner potential, achievement of new heights, including internal ones. The article reveals the need for ownership of acmeological technologies for teachers engaged in psycho-pedagogical support of learning. The author identifies complex issues that impede learning and the work of the teacher: the low level of initial knowledge of students, insufficient development of students ‘ interest in education, attitudes to education not as to a painstaking, systematic, domestic work, but as to the formal execution of a set of some external, unrelated to the student tasks.

Role of the methodological component in the structure of the course training of guides and guide-interpreters (the preparation for the 2018 World Cup in Volgograd)

In connection with carrying out in 2018 of the activities of the world football Championship in several regions of the Russian Federation there is a perceived need for additional training of a large number of guides, guides and guides-interpreters. In the article based on modern scientific approaches and many years of practical experience, the authors propose a new structure of the course content quality of training of specialists of excursion business. The article discusses important differences in the training of the needed staff, on the one hand, in cities with experience of international competitions and Championships - Olympic games and Universiades, and, on the other hand, in cities where tourism business is seasonal e, which include the Volgograd. The article presents brief analysis of the problems and difficulties encountered in the preparation and subsequent work of guides and guides-interpreters of the Volgograd region. Special attention is paid to the insufficient competence of tour guides in the field of practice of the excursion. In this context, the article provides an overview of tour guides requirements, contained in the normative legal acts on the basis of which there is competence of the guide - the guidelines of the tour. The authors compare traditional (found in the literature) creative interpretations of the concept of «methodology of the tour». As a significant component of the methodology for the conduct of excursions are the types of special methodical knowledge of the guide and guide-interpreter, namely: psychological, pedagogical, vocational and applied, lin- guistic knowledge and the practical skills: communicative, organizational and compensatory. The article specifies requirements for teaching staff, conducting quality training courses guides and guide-interpreters, and procedural characteristics of education.

Several aspects of the use of historical-graphical approach in the training Course «Tecnology of inbound tourism»

The article is devoted to the use of the principles of historical-graphical approach in vocational education on the direction «Tourism». On the base of developed practical training devoted to the historical-graphical analysis of the sources of the XIII-XIX centuries, they examine the historical process of the formation of neutral or negative images of our country at the Europeans. In modern conditions it has a direct impact on the demand and interest in tourist trips to Russia. The article proposes and researches in detail the mechanisms of formation of tourist image of the country in two forms - subjective and objective. It's noted that the the image of a country forming even without a direct visit/ And this image can be viewed as subjective, and potentially to be attractive (attractive), neutral, or repulsive (repellent). Historical-graphical practice during the practical training on discipline «Technology of the inbound tourism» shows the formation of mostly negative Russian image in the public perception of Europeans, today expression of negative tourism image of Russia, fears of tourist trips to the country. The article describes the technology of implementation of the method of historical-graphical analysis as the part of the training. It also describes the methods and forms of work with historical sources to identify perceptions of hospitality and tourism images of Russia formed in the writings of foreign travelers of XIII-XIX centuries. Also the article contains some fragments of descriptions of the peoples of Russia, their everyday life and customs contained in those writings, shaped the imaginative perception of the country. The article states the pedagogical effectiveness of technology use historical analysis to evaluate cause and effect the formation of negative or neutral tourist image of Russia among foreign tourists, due to its descriptions in the historical sources. The conclusion is made about necessity of develop- ment of marketing strategies for overcoming negative images and perceptions of Russia among potential users of its tourism programs.

The role of educational methods in patriotism upbringing

The patriotism upbringing of young generation is very important government task of nowadays. The article states that this task solution has to get started with influence on the audiences, which themselves can transmit the system of national values through cultural products to population of Russia when serving people. They are students who study the «Tourism» and «Service» disciplines at the Russian universities. Tourism is an activity, which allows people to see and understand their own country, estimate recourses unknown earlier. Service personnel (guides, museums workers, animators) have an opportunity to imbue cultural programs for tourists with significance. The author of the article assures hospitality industry has the instruments of influence on public consciousness in order to form Russian traditionalism. The author raises the problem of social - cultural service personnel quality and asserts that to inculcate required capacities to the workers of the future Russian service industry is possible only with the help of educational process modification and use of creative learning methods.

The use of tourism technologies in the process of patriotic education

The social apathy system came after the dissolution of the Soviet Union and the destruction of the ideological; the recognized moral values, which had been universal for the Soviet people, disappeared. Representation of members of a society about the absolute and unchanging moral principles were not relevant, in this regard, the society grew into a community consisting of small groups, the main idea of which was the satisfaction of personal needs, often unrelated to the needs of society in general. This article focuses on the possibilities of tourist activity in the Patriotic education of citizens. Today the technology of tourism, in the sphere of pedagogical influence, is mainly used in the practice of Patriotic education of the younger generation. However, the volume of tourism impact and its broader educational opportunities cannot and should not be limited exclusively with Junior and youth direction. In modern society there is a need of using the potential of tourist activities in the sphere of Patriotic education not only of youth but also the adult population. Today there is a need for a focused educational process in patriotism, not beyond a reasonable and humanistic perception of reality. Means of tourist activity of cultural-cognitive orientation such as excursions and travel, priority aimed at acquainting with the history and culture of the Motherland, can be an effective tool in the process of Patriotic education.

Training of specialists in the travel industry for effective Cross-Cultural interaction

The article is devoted to questions of improvement of professional competencies in the sphere of tourism industry. The authors aimed to identify the most problematic areas of optimal interpersonal interaction in the training of future specialists in the sphere of services and to identify possible solutions of found problems. Special attention is paid to social-psychological aspects of training future professionals in this area. This article proposes an integrated approach to working with students (future travel businesspersons) and describes a specific model of intercultural competence, the structural components which serve the purpose of training, contents of training (theoretical and practical aspects) as well as methodological solutions to ensure maximum efficiency of the proposed model. The authors insist on the observance of the harmony in the allocation of attention to information and thematic and practi- cal areas of the formation of intercultural linguistic competence. The first of them contributes to the formation of the main landmarks in communication with native speakers for organized intercultural understanding of the world. The second area of work is directed on creation of effective and appropriate verbal behavior of speakers and it involves the practical application of acquired knowledge in various situations of business communication. Personal experience with students-bachelors, studying the direction of tourism and service, allows us to give recommendations regarding the optimal methodological decisions in the process of formation of intercultural competence. As an example, there is a role-playing game as a way to achieve this level of intercultural communication in which cultural mismatch can be overcome through the intersection of cognitive, affective, and behavioral levels of communication.
