An attempt of colorimetric estimation of colour in polymorphic species of birds

A colorimetric characteristics (by whiteness and tint) has been obtained for some Tientary features of the nuptial plumage of males Philomachus pugnax L. 400 specimens from Yamal, Taimyr and Khanty-Mansi District were analyzed. A chronographic jid geographical variability by the index of whiteness has been established. The Affs jom Yamal and Taimyr have a higher index of whiteness in some regions of plumage tan those from the Khanty-Mansi District.
