Comparative characteristics of the larva of Arthropeas sibirica Loew (Diptera, Xylophagidae)

The data on biology and morphology of the larvae of Arthropeas sibirica Loew are guven. The larvae develop in the soil of spruce-fir forests, are very similar to the larvae of Coenomyia by appearance and differ from them by some details only. 9 Figures. The larvae as well as their differences from C. ferruginea are described.
