MACROTYPIC EGGS OF PHASIINS OF THE GENERA GYMNOSOMA, HELIOZETA, CLYTIOMYIA, SUBCLYTIA, CISTOGASTER AND ECTOPHASIA

Net of uniformelly distributed small depressions and ampulaelike expansions is rgvealed on the surface of phasiins macrotypic eggs. Hexagonal system is absent. Aeropilar zone is compact and located on the apex of the anterior pole of the egg as a single respiratory center surrounded with a ridge formed by the chorion surface. The lower surface of the egg is concave, its structure is porose aiding fastening of the egg to host's covers.
