The main forms of intraspecific variability of mammals are taken under analysis, i. e. individual, age, chronographic and geographic ones. Their role in the process of the development of different environment by a species and in process of intraspecific differentiation are shown. The necessity of a complex analysis of different forms of intraspecific variability is based and principal source of taxonomic mistakes due to insufficient attention given to the study of individual and chronographic variabilities are pointed out.
