POEKILOGAMMARUS ERINACEUS SP. N. - NEW SPECIES OF BAIKAL SAND-HOPPERS (AMPHIPODA, GAMMARIDAE)

Poekilogammarus (Onychogammarus) erinaceus sp. n. is described from Baikal Lake. The new species is characterized by the presence of many small spines on the back side of all segments of metasoma and of the last 1-2 segments of mesosoma. The species combines characters which are typical for P. (O.) pictoides Sow., P. (O.) longipes Baz., and P. (O.) crassimanus Sow.
