A new genus and two new species of mites from the family Stigmaeidae (Acariformes)

Descriptions are given for Postumius tectus gen. n., sp. n. and Mediolata conserva sp. n. found in the forest litter. The new genus is closely related to Ledermuelleria Oudemans and Cheylostigmaeus Willmann; it differs from the former by fully connected cheliceral joints and from the latter by very large humeral scales.
