About the database
Electronic database Digitalia Hispanica contains about 13 000 books and more than 2500 journals from Spain and Latin America across diverse subjects. The available collections: Architecture, Art, Caribbean Studies, Cinema Studies, Business and Economics Engineering, Science and Technology, Historic Periodicals of Spain History, Languages, Linguistics and Philology, Law, Literature Studies, Medicine, Philosophy, Political Science, Religion and Mythology, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Spanish Literature, Criticism.
Digitalia is designed to be a useful tool for libraries and all their users, in order to access new content of high quality in Spanish Language. Libraries can access Digitalia in two ways: purchasing the content they want, or suscribing yearly the full text content of the database.
New webpage features
Now Digitalia Hispanica webpage introduces the new design and functions. Some of the improvements are easier access, a simpler language, and a more intuitive interface:
- a new PDF viewer: easy to add personal notes and bookmarks. The new visor reminds the reader where she/he quit reading and, every time she/he opens the book, it will take the reader to the page she/he were the last time.
- the main page offers direct access to new releases and collections. It also gives information about new publishers in a simpler and visual way.
- user’s menu allows to consult easily the reader’s loans, lists and history. The user can also check usage statistics and account data.
