Larvae of 3 genera of the family Ditomyiidae which occur in the decaying wood and carpophores of the Polyporales were studied morphologically. Larvae of three species of the genus Symmerus Walk., one species of the genus Ditomyia Winn. and one species of the genus Asioditomyia Saigusa were fisrt described. Keys are provided for the genera and species of the Ditomyiidae by larvae.
